The 70th week, and understanding it’s placement (and other timings) in Revelation

Daniel Timing Markers Noted

  1. The 70th Week sets up the PRIMARY marker for “times”.

    1. Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

      1. Dividing the Week into 7 “times” that are split evenly into two parts of 3.5 times each is assumed using basic logic and math.

        1. Logically, this is explained below.

        2. As for the MATH

          1. It is historically accurate according to the first 69 weeks, to assign 360 days to a “time”. Meaning that 365 day years are probably not accurate to use for the 70th week.

          2. One should strongly consider when looking at calculating the days of 3.5 times whether 3.5 times is equal to 1260 days (3.5 x 360), and not 1277.5 days (3.5 x 365).

          3. Also considering 42 months which are brought up in other books of Scripture… Which do we use?

            1. Sidereal month = 27.32 days (one orbit around earth)

            2. Synodic month = 29.53 days (Phases of the moon)- Which seems more accurate according to scripture.

      2. NOTE: There is no scripture that specifically says that there are 3.5 time from the exact point of the Abomination of desolation and ending of Sacrifices to reach the end of the 70th week. (Keep this in mind while continuing…)

        1. Logically, Because in Daniel 7:25 and Daniel 12:6 we see 3.5 times, people want to assign 3.5 times to each half of the one week. (And this is a valid conclusion.)

        2. Keep in mind, also,  that in Daniel 9:27, there are THREE important time factors being addressed:

          1. The START by a treaty, (Which we are not addressing specifically)

          2.  To set and announce the significance of the MIDPOINT of the 70th Week. Evident in Daniel 12:11 and Daniel 8:14, when addressing what starts the timer of the 3.5 times.

          3. To set and announce the significance of the END of the 70th Week. Evident in Daniel 12:11 and Daniel 8:14, when announcing the end of the 3.5 timer.

  2. 3.5 times of the Power of the Beast over the Holy People, and the Antichrist’s time of blasphemy – Start point not specifically mentioned.

    1. Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

    2. Daniel 12: 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?  7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

  3. 1290 Days from the midpoint of the 70th Week

    1. Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

  4. 2300 Days from the midpoint of the 70th Week

    1. Daniel 8: 9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

 

Drawing in the comparisons of the Markers in Revelation in relation to those in Daniel.

  1. In Revelation, there is NO mention at all of the 70th week, more specifically its midpoint, and its ending. However, it must be understood that the event EXISTS within the timeline of Revelation. We can be sure of this, because of the clear link of this event specifically addressing Daniel 7:25, and Daniel 12:6…

    1. Revelation 13: 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

    2. There is NO DOUBT that 42 months in this case is a nod to the 3.5 times where the exact same two event of one individual are mentioned:

      1. Blasphemy of God Verses 5 & 6

        1. NOTE: Also brings in another prophecy within Daniel in verse 6 “…blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

        2. Daniel 8:10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

      2. Power to overcome the “saints” and all nations in verse 5 & 7. 

  2. Also the end of the 70th week has specific mystery to it that is addressed in Revelation as well.

    1. Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

      1. Revelation 10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

      2. Which is laid out in happening here: Revelation 11: 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

    2. Note for clarification, There is a specific mention in Daniel 9:24 that by the end of the 70th week, VISION AND PROPHECY ARE SEALED UP – I.E. were sealed and are revealed in the end, or completed…

      1. Daniel 9: 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

        1. Daniel 12: 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

        2. Daniel 12: 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

        3. Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

 

 

So we can see that indeed there are very prominent signs that the 70th week exists within the Revelation. AND we can now see the END of the 70th week lies directly at the sounding of the 7th Trumpet. So let’s look at some other numbers in Revelation that seem to link to Daniel.

  1. There are two times in Revelation 11 where links to the 3.5 times are suggested. One is about the time that the court yard area around the Temple will be trampled on by gentiles, along with the time of Jerusalem being tread upon by those OTHER than Israel. The other is the time of the ministry of the 2 Witnesses.

    1. Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

      1. The timing of these events can be found in Daniel to some regard, in that they must be completed BEFORE or AT the end of the 70th Week:

        1. Daniel 9:24 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression…

      2. Because of this it makes sense that according to Jesus in the Olivet Discourse of Matt 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, the following must be true:

        1. The Trampling of Jerusalem lasts 42 months from a specific starting point, and for 3.5 times/42 months. Rev 11:2

        2. The Starting Point appears to be at the moment of the Abomination of Desolation which marks the Midpoint of the 70th week.

          1. Luke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

          2. Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

          3. Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:  15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

        3. Luke 21:20 & 24 Link directly to Revelation 11:1. Then Luke 21 continue to link the desolation (treading upon)of Jerusalem to starting at the time people run for the mountains in great Tribulation, which confirms in Matt 24:15 and Mark 13:14, that the events of Jerusalem being surrounded and trampled upon are started AT THE MIDPOINT of the 70th Week of Daniel.

    2. Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

      1. The completion of their ministry ABSOLUTELY concludes Right before the 7th Trumpet sounds in Rev 11:15.

      2. Note that they ascend into heaven in Revelation 11:12, and then there is an earthquake that same day and hour in verse 13, and “shortly after” (verse 14 “the third woe cometh quickly”) the 7th Trumpet Sounds. Knowing this, we can assume that the Two Witnesses certainly appear either right at the Midpoint of the 70th week, or just slightly before, like only days or a week or two before. (WHICH MAY BE WHY IT IS NOT TIED DIRECTLY TO THE MIDPOINT IN THE TEXT.)

  2. There is another link to the Daniel 3.5 times in Revelation 12.  The Woman and her protection for 3.5 times and 1260 days.  (WHICH seems to conclude 1260 days is equal to 3.5 times, by the way… This lends to the idea that a “time” is 360 days, and not 365 days.)

    1. The two mentions are regarding the same Woman at the exact same moment in time, explained in two different ways; a global overview, then a narrowed view regarding events that lead right up to it. So the event is timed in two formats, both equal in length: 3.5 times, and 1260 days.

      1. Revelation 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered… 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

      2. Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

    2. The Woman is a group of individuals who are best described as the “Children of Israel” (literally descendants of Jacob himself), as defined by the signs of the appearance of the Woman. (Thus making the Son born to her, Jesus Christ, who ascended into heaven. Meaning Jesus was of the tribe of David, and is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah – Revelation 5:5) So then, can the 144,000 Children of Israel be considered the Woman? Yes

      1. The 144,000 qualify As Children of Israel

        1. Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

          1. Genesis 37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

        2.  Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

      2. The 144,000 are protected from harm from the Dragon, who is that old serpent, the Devil, SATAN, just like the Woman is protected from the attack of the Serpent.

        1. Rev 12: 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

        2. Revelation 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

 

IF the Woman can be related to the 144,000, then we can identify the timing of the beginning and ending of the 1260 days in Revelation for at least the timer in Revelation 12.

  1. Beginning: The 144,000/Woman is sealed between the 6th Seal and the 7th:

    1. Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood… Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

    2. Revealtion 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

  2. Ending: The 144,000/Woman is Redeemed from the earth up into heaven AFTER the 7th Trump, which is the end of the 70th week.

    1. Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever… Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

  3. Notice that scripture seems to indicate that the 144,000 are redeemed from earth into heaven shortly AFTER the 7th Trump, whereas the 2 Witnesses were taken up slightly before. This means that the 1260/3.5 times of the 144,000 do not align with the Midpoint of the 70th week, but rather, the 144,000/Woman is sealed and then protected shortly after the Midpoint.

 

Noting that the 144,000/Woman does not seem to be aligned in their sealing on the forehead at the exact midpoint of the 70th Week, let’s speculate on where the actual midpoint begins in Revelation. The best place to start is the following:

  1. The Abomination of Desolation set up in the Holy Place (may need a Temple for this)  & the Stopping of Sacrifices at the same time will indicate the beginning of the MIDPOINT of the 70th Week

    1. Daniel 9: 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

    2. Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

    3. Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

  2. Jesus spoke of this exact moment mentioned in Daniel.

    1. Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

    2. Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

  3. The signs that immediately follow that 70th WEEK MIDPOINT event as mentioned in Scripture

    1. Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understandJ 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the abbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

    2. Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. 13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: 16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 7 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

    3.     4. Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

      1. Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

    5. Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

    6. Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

  4. As we continue to hunt for the start of the Midpoint event, it is clear that the GREAT TRIBULATION is an event of DEATH greater, and more horrifically laid out than ever before in history. (There is actually much more to it, however a HUGE part of it is DEATH and HOW they die…) So knowing this, Is there an event before the 6th Seal that deals with a massive amount of death in horrific ways? YES!

    1. Revelation 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

      1. Think about that in today’s terms… ¼ of 8 billion People is 2 Billion People slaughtered quickly…

      2. Notice also that Death comes in many horrific ways:

        1. to kill with sword – A HUGE amount of senseless Murders

        2. with hunger – Starvation and hording of food segregating specific peoples from it.

        3. with death – People dying because of many other causes, like electricity ending, and no access to medical care. Many sick that are currently kept alive by Medical means and medication will die off quickly.

        4. with the beasts of the earth – People being torn apart by beasts, both trained to do so, and domesticated beasts turning on their owners possibly, not to exclude wild beasts attacking on God’s orders.

    2. Another indication that the 4th Seal fits the bill, is the 5th Seal.

      1. Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

        1. These are people, who were killed and who’s souls are under the Alter in heaven that stand before the throne of God.

        2. They are complaining and crying for Justice for specific reasons:

          1. slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held

          2. “judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth”

          3. Jesus gives them white robes and says the following

          4. “rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled”

            1. Clearly there is a specific amount of death that are needed before Jesus can avenge them.

            2. All those under the alter are killed “in the same way” somehow:

              1. The Great Tribulation is AN EVENT of Great killings and Death where all killed who believe in Jesus Christ will be gathered under the Alter. It is CLEAR these are believers because “white robes were given unto every one of them” and we know all these in white robes will stand before the Lamb worshiping him:

                1. Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

                2. Rev 6:9b “and for the testimony which they held”

              2. It is not a hard stretch of the imagination to imagine these as those Killed by DEATH AND HELL on the 4th Horse. (THE GREAT TRIBULATION EVENT of unimaginable death and horror on the earth.)

                1. Revelation 6:8a And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

  5. The best fit for the midpoint of the 70th week is the 4th Seal of Revelation 6:7-8.

So now we can identify within Revelation the Start of the Midpoint of the 70th Week at the 4th Seal and the end of the 70th week at the 7th Trumpet. Knowing this, and keeping all this in mind, all the rest of Prophecy fits neatly within and around this knowledge. Further Study and info to remember:

  1. The Midpoint of the 70th Week starts at the 4th Seal

  2. The Midpoint of the 70th Week is known by the Abomination set up in the Holy Place and the stopping of sacrifices.

  3. Jerusalem will be surrounded at that time, and Children of Israel will flee from Jerusalem when it starts.

  4. The Great Tribulation (not a time period) is an EVENT of Great Slaughter and more. But both Jews and Christians will be targets in a great purge to annihilate any who worship GOD and NOT the Dragon and his Beast.

  5. The Great Tribulation (for Believers) will last from the 4th Seal to the 6th Seal, when it will be cut short after days, or weeks. That cutting short is the Appearing of Jesus on the Clouds and great signs in the heavens directly prior to that.

  6.  The end of the 70th week is at the 7th Trumpet.

  7. The 144,000 are the Woman of Revelation 12, and are sealed shortly AFTER the Midpoint, which means their 1260 days ends after the 70th week ends.

  8. There's another group of people called the “remnant of her (Woman) seed”. These are those that come to know the Jesus as Lord AFTER the Appearing of Christ on the Clouds and Rapture. They are seen again after the 7th Trumpet in Rev 14:9-16 &15:15:2-3 & 20:4…
